ANYONE: So, religion can save us, but usually does the opposite?
To the extent that religion makes us reliant on belief, it forfeits its unique capacity to direct our attention to the Genuine, the Real, the True. Instead, it dooms us to endlessly fight over petty concerns â and, most of all, over whose beliefs are right.
Belief is the problem. Sans belief, religion can directly point to Reality.
Belief is the bane of religion. It walls us off from what religion truly has to offer: the end of fear, hatred, and division; the end of confusion; the end of not knowing what is going on.
